About Stimsonite® Inset Studs

Our Stimsonite® 381C Inset Studs are designed to retain their retroreflectivity values under intense weather and trafficking, providing continual guidance to motorists in all conditions. It is designed to be used with our surface mounted studs, which are glued into the metal housing to form the inset system.

Stimsonite® 381C Inset Studs are a non-depressible, reflective road stud system, designed with hardened cast iron housings to withstand all climatic conditions.

381.C80 Inset Stud colour range

Our 381.C80 Inset Studs have a varied colour range, each used for a different purpose depending on where it is applied.

Duo White

Used for lane delineation on one-way systems or areas where bidirectional reflection is safe.
Duo Red

Used to warn drivers of the left-hand edge of the roads or of temporary works from both directions.
Duo Green

Used to indicate a permitted entry or exit point where both directions of travel are safely separated.
Duo Red/Yellow

Used in temporary traffic management zones to highlight the left-hand edge of the carriageway.
Uni White

Used for lane delineation in the direction of the driver on motorways, dual carriageways, and A-roads.
Uni Red

Used to warn drivers they are apporaching the edge of the carriagway unidirectionally.
Uni Yellow

Used on the right-hand edge of the road to indiciate proximity to a central reservation, obstruction, or hazard.
Uni Green

Used to inform drivers of entry and exit points on slip roads, lay-bys, and access points.
Duo Blue

Used for various applications around the world and for specific project requirements.
Duo Orange
