About us

Prismo is a world-leading manufacturer and supplier of road markings and traffic safety solutions, with a wide range of high-performance products.
Since 1935, we’ve been at the forefront of innovation, introducing breakthrough technologies that raised road-safety standards and built a reputation for quality, service and innovation.
Operations
We operate across five sites. Our flagship manufacturing facility in Chorley, UK is the world’s largest and most advanced thermoplastic production facility. Additional plants in Italy and South Africa extend our reach and shorten lead times. In Italy, Vernisol has produced specialist traffic paints and MMA for more than 40 years, backed by shared standards and testing across our sites.
Management buyout
In December 2023, James Moore and Andy Jourdain led a management buyout from PPG Traffic Solutions. We restored the Prismo name and moved to independent ownership. That gives us the freedom to act quickly, invest where it helps customers most and stay true to our values and vision.
The Prismo name is synonymous with quality that lasts. It represents a proven track record, solid manufacturing and results on the ground.
