Our surface mounted studs have been at the forefront of innovation since 1964, proven to withstand the toughest conditions and proven in trials to hold 100% retention. As such, our surface mounted models have been the studs of choice across many major road networks internationally. Within our surface mounted range, all regulatory lens colours are UKCA approved and CE marked, as well as being manufactured to BS EN 1463.

Built to withstand heavy trafficking

Crafted from injection-moulded, high-impact polymers, our surface mounted studs deliver exceptional durability and endurance, even under heavy traffic. Its patented groove formulation on the underside of the marker provides superior bonding to the road surface, whilst the polycarbonate casting creates a rust-free surface. The prismatic design helps to maximise the reflective properties which have been measured under ASTM D4280-05, delivering clear delineation across all conditions.  In addition, the ramp angles are designed for heavy trafficking and exceptional impact resistance. This means fewer lane closures, saving you money on traffic management costs.

Fast and simple installation

Installing our Surface Mounted Studs is quick and hassle-free, applied using either our Stimsonite® Stud Grout or Prismo® Bundy® Pads. For Stimsonite® Stud Grout, the material is heated in a purpose-built applicator and then poured onto the road surface. For Bundy® Pads, a propane torch is used to heat the adhesive, eliminating the need for specialist, expensive machinery while retaining a sufficient bond to the surface.
